How to Keep Your Favorite BBQ Shirt Looking Good

You take care of the smoker. Give your shirt the same respect.

Wash in cold water.
High heat is great for searing meat. Not so great for your shirt.

Turn it inside out before washing.
Helps protect the graphic so you can keep wearing it around the pit for years to come.

Use a mild detergent.
Skip the industrial-strength stuff. Your shirt isn't a grill grate.

Wash dark colors separately the first time.
A little color transfer can happen on the first wash, so don't toss it in with anything you're emotionally attached to.

Drying Instructions

Low and Slow Works Here Too

Air drying is best.
It helps reduce shrinking and keeps the fabric feeling soft.

Using the dryer? Keep it on low.
Choose a low heat or delicate setting.

Take it out when it's dry.
Leaving it buried in the dryer is a good way to create wrinkles nobody asked for.

🔥 No bleach or harsh detergents. They can fade the color and beat up the fabric.

🔥 Skip the fabric softener. It can affect the feel of the shirt.

🔥 Don't iron directly over the graphic. Turn the shirt inside out or use a pressing cloth.

Every Rock Fire Smoke order is printed just for you and typically ships within 3 business days. No dusty warehouse piles. No shirt sitting around waiting for somebody to buy it. Your gear is made when you order it.

Once your package hits the road, USPS typically delivers within 2–5 business days.

We'll send tracking information so you can watch that package like a brisket probe at 198°… or forget about it until it shows up at your door.
