About
Born in Texas. Built Around Fire and Smoke.
As a Texan, BBQ is in my blood.
For more than a decade, I’ve been deeply involved in the Central Texas BBQ community. I've spent over 10 years volunteering with the Rodeo Austin BBQ Austin Cook-Off, serving as a committee chair and vice chair along the way.
For the past five years, one of the best parts of that experience has been helping feed the cowboys, volunteers, and their families during the rodeo.
To me, BBQ has never been just about food.
It’s about long days around the smoker. Cold drinks. Good friends. Family gathered together. Telling stories while waiting on a brisket that refuses to be rushed.
And yes—I practice what I preach. I own both a smoker and a flat top, and they get used regularly.
The Story Behind Rock Fire Smoke
I call Round Rock, Texas home.
Round Rock gets its name from the large, round rock that sits in Brushy Creek. The rock served as a landmark for cattle drivers traveling the historic Chisholm Trail, helping them identify a safe place to cross the creek.
That piece of Texas history inspired the Rock in our name.
Fire and Smoke are simpler.
They're two of the best ways ever invented to cook meat.
Put it together and you get Rock Fire Smoke—a brand rooted in Texas, BBQ, and the people who understand that some of life's best moments happen around a grill, smoker, or fire.
Made for the BBQ Life
Rock Fire Smoke shirts are for the pitmasters, backyard cooks, tailgaters, BBQ fanatics, and anyone else who knows the first rule of smoking meat:
It'll be ready when it's ready.
I hope you enjoy wearing these shirts while hanging out around the smoker, tending the fire, and making some of the best meals—and memories—of your life.
Welcome to Rock Fire Smoke BBQ.
Fire up the smoker. Grab a cold one. Let's cook something good.
